Is snowmobiling hard?+
Most of our guests are first-time snowmobile riders or have only ridden on guided tours. Before your tour begins, our guides provide a thorough safety briefing and operating instructions to help you feel comfortable and confident behind the handlebars. We use Ski-Doo Grand Touring snowmobiles, which are designed specifically for trail riding and are known for their smooth handling, comfort, quiet operation, and reliability. With comfortable seating for both a driver and passenger, these easy-to-operate snowmobiles provide a safe and enjoyable ride for guests of all experience levels.
What gear is provided and will I stay warm?+
Staying warm is one of the most common concerns we hear, and we've got you covered. We provide all the specialized snowmobile gear you'll need, including an insulated jacket and bibs, snow boots, a full-face helmet, and insulated mittens. Our equipment has been carefully selected to handle Yellowstone's winter conditions. For the best experience, we recommend wearing layered clothing underneath the outer gear we provide. Between the insulated gear, heated handlebars, and the protection of the snowmobile windshield, most guests are pleasantly surprised by how comfortable they stay, even during colder weather.

How many people are in a tour group?+
To provide a safe, enjoyable, and personalized experience, our tour groups are typically limited to 10–12 guests. Keeping our groups small allows our guides to give individual attention, answer questions, and ensure everyone has a safe and wonderful time on the trail. If you're looking for a more exclusive experience with just your family or friends, private tours are also available.
